Extended Services have revolutionised the school environment and touched on the lives of many hundreds of thousands of pupils. Although Extended Service funding is no longer ring-fenced, schools are continuing to build on the fantastic work that was achieved over recent years. TIMEextra allows schools to demonstrate the impact their Extended Services are having and provides evidence that can be used when applying for alternative funding sources. TIMEextra builds on the extendedschool.net database which has logged the activities for over 108,000 pupils at over 670 schools across the country. Its evidence has been used by both the DCSF (now DfE) and TDA in publications and case studies and it continues to remain a popular tool in many Local Authorities.
